Food quality and the variety is absolutely amazing. The atmosphere is wonderful as well. Only thing that is a minor irk is that service can be slow but when you have a mountain of meat you don't notice! Can't wait to go back.

wanted to try this place because of the photos. honestly I love their presentation of the meat, but the meat itself was only ok. we ordered the holy cow" set ($96) and the Japanese wagyu tasting price ($50). I was disappointed that the Japanese wagyu tasting option only had one thin slice while the photo on their website and menu shows multiple slices.the meat from the holy cow platter was ok. mostly quite bland so be sure to use their bbq sauce which is pretty good.the grills they use are heating elements and do not have any actual flames. I find that using this method of cooking doesn't get as nice a cook on the meat so not a fan of that. if you like your meat rare or medium rare

We had an amazing time at Gyubee! We have been before and we were so excited to be back. It was our server Blake’s first day and he was so excellent and friendly. The person training him was such a professional. We will be back soon!

Nice renovated interior. The servers can cook for you if you want which is nice because it gave me time to eat and enjoy my food! The wagyu oil rice is really good but can be quite heavy which an order of salad can help balance out. Parking can be challenging sometimes.

I always love coming to Miga because not only do they have good food but their decor and menu are constantly upgrading and changing with the season!Came here and just was amazed at the beautiful winter wonderland decor & loved all their seasonal drinks and desserts.Their new double Wagyu is a must get imo, the meat paired with the radish wraps and side dishes really were the highlight of my meal!

This place was a very interesting mix of korean bbq and sushi, both of which they do not exactly excel in & im left wondering why they do it in the first place.Lets start with the positives:-quick service-sashimi was goodBut there were many negatives as well, which you should be aware of…-if u ask for spicy mayo its $2 extra-asked for 10 sashimi and they gave me what is pictured (after I had already ate a lot). Does that look like 10 to you?-kept asking for spicy tofu did not get it.-overall they kept getting our orders mixed up & since it was a paper order system they were unaccountable… we got things meant for other tables and were forced to eat or pay the charge for uneaten food-the water tasted very weird-kbbq beef tasted very salty-sushi kept falling apart-very expensive!!!Overall, you’ll be better off going some place else.

I finally waited for them to reopen after relocating from Richmond. This place is def a higher end restaurant because of the meat price. Honestly, this is Vancouver - you get what you pay for. The atmosphere here is much better than the old location. You can tell much thought was put into renovation.There’s only some selection I will always order.1) The Tako Wasabi - appy and it’s served almost everywhere but THIS place has honestly the best one. I order it at almost every restaurant I go to and this is my top number one. The wasabi hits you in the nose in just perfect amount.2) Plum Tomato - a sweet, fresh, and unique appy that goes great with meat. It helps to cleanse your taste after each different kind of meat3) Alley Cut - not sure if it’s the way it’s prepared or just pure quality, it melts so perfectly well in your mouth. And I’ve tried all ways to make this. It tastes best medium rare but surprised it actually taste good after a bit over cooked!4) NEW ITEM Vanilla Stack I think - they upgraded their dessert menu and I’m in love with the dessert. I’m a big carb fan. The sugar coated toast dipped with the whipped cream was too delicious.5) Uni Scallop - almost forgot to put this in here. One of the pricier items but it’s uni and scallop with a slice of shiso leaf between. Just all in deliciousness altogether.The holy cow platter would be best if you’re here for the first time or taking a friend here. At least you would know which meat part is your favourite. It has almost all the selections to try from.Service was friendly and attentive. They do come help you cook your food sometimes when you feel like you don’t know what to do. I like their cheat sheet on how long to cook ur meat.Not sure why some people say their meat is too salty? Most of the meat comes non-marinated. Unless you ordered it marinated in miso or it’s lightly sprinkled with their seasoning salt - I like my meat raw. And I can help myself to the sauce dish to my preferable saltiness.

The restaurant is nicely decorated. Services are excellent. Food is just average at this price. There is one thing to note that the exhaust is a bit of weak for a BBQ restaurant. Throughout our dinner, smoke was running toward one side of the seating that people sitting on that side were encountering with smoky dinner. I guess the bbq exhaust was not working well. Otherwise, everything else was quite impressive, especially the service.

I finally had the opportunity to come and try this place out with my brother. We came here with no expectations, and the experience we had from beginning to end was a great one!I forgot to take pictures on the interior, but it made the atmosphere feel very vibrant.We ordered a lot of different dishes, there were a lot of options for the Black Angus AYCE. I loved the Sousvide Pork Belly (Thick cut), Marinated Lamb with Cumin Sauce, and the Clams (in sake). Honourable mention, try the seasoning on the table on the lamb (and other meats) it was really good!There was no waiting because we got here at 6:45 PM, but it got quite busy later on. The service was great, compared to the other reviews it doesn't seem terrible at all!The Black Angus AYCE was $40.99 per person, we had 2 hours for seating (with 30 mins for last call). Overall, this was a great place to experience. The food was delicious, and the vibe was great.
